Meet the Real Life Characters

Wazoo

Zorro, or Z as we call him to shorten his name, is a Snowshoe Siamese.  He is over 10 years old. He doesn't like to be left alone, not even in a room.  He has to be in the same room where we sit.

His favorite foods are fish, chicken, yes, he even eats his vegetables. He prefers string green beans and corn, with butter, thank you very much.

Squidget

Jaden Yuki, named after the animé character of the same name, is a Korat. We got him from a rescue in our city. He loves to eat. He's mostly quite timid, is a bit of a fraidy-cat as he hides when people he doesn't know visit.

He is very nice, though, and affectionate. He loves to 'sleep television' and take over the bottom of the bed at my feet at night.

No, I cannot leave my socks on the floor.  He will play with them.

Wabadeezoo

Watch out! It’s Sneaky Pete!!! Pete was a rescue cat we had some years ago in Nova Scotia.  He was an older fella, very patient.

Like a true wabadeezoo, Pete liked to hide under furniture and swat at ankles and feet. Not in a mean way, just to play. He never used his ‘danger toes’. Loved his treats.

He played with our dog at the time, Riley.

Riley will make an appearance in a future book, so keep a watch out for him.

Hooliganoo

Tobi was our Yellow Labrador Retriever. She was just a lovely personality; playful, all smiles and the body wagging.

She loved to chase sticks  and balls and spend time with my daughter.

By the picture of the hooliganoo, you can tell the kind of trouble she might find herself.
